RP (Qualifying)
She/Her
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Additionally, I am a Registered Physiotherapist with over thirty years of clinical experience in paediatric and adult neurology.
I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to grow and live life to the fullest. I am a spiritually integrated psychotherapist who has completed a Master of Theology in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy. However, I am not a religious therapist. I enjoy sitting with others from all faith backgrounds, including those who identify as agnostic or atheist. I will not shy away from existential questions or discussions about exploring our place in the world. I am passionate about holistic treatment approaches and am guided by the belief that a person’s spiritual and mental well-being forms the foundation for their overall health.
I have an avid interest in animal-assisted therapies. In addition to my practice in the clinical setting, a significant portion of my work includes equine and canine-assisted psychotherapy. I am happy to speak to you about this area of my practice and the potential benefits it can provide.
I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults. I am dedicated to providing support for individuals with anxiety, depression, attention difficulties, stress management, difficulties with emotional regulation, relationship conflicts, grief and loss.
I am committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment to everyone, including individuals who identify as 2SLGBTQ+ and their families.
Over my career working in health care, I have witnessed the impact of loss on the trajectory of a person’s life. I am interested in helping clients of all ages who are dealing with loss due to disability or illness. I am passionate about working with family members and caregivers of those with medical concerns or disabilities.
I welcome the opportunity to meet with you and can be reached via email.
